One Life At a Time

Any donation to Hope sessions can be applied to the various introductory ice-breaker, training and empowerment sessions held across the various states and industries to help people feel comfortable and more confident being in the work environment. We work with a range of charity partners who recommend the most vulnerable and suitable candidates.

This is a full training and empowerment scholarship for one year,  offering entry level support to people interested in entering the hospitality industry. We provide holistic support that is carefully curated for each participant. This could include support through; budgeting lessons, debt support, cooking lessons, driving lessons, housing support, uniform supply, meals and grocery support and financial stability through paid part-time or full-time employment. Our aim is to support each participant in feeling more empowered and able to gain greater independence.

This is a full training and empowerment scholarship for one year, geared towards those interested in financial advice and helping people achieve financial stability and well-being. This scholarship can support participants in their journey towards becoming an associate advisor and beyond (with further formal training). Our scholarships provide holistic support, carefully curated for each participant. This could include support through; budgeting lessons, debt support, cooking lessons, driving lessons, housing support, uniform supply, meals and grocery support and financial stability through paid part-time or full-time employment. Our aim is to support each participant in feeling more empowered and able to achieve greater independence in their life.

This is a full training and empowerment scholarship for one year,  offering entry level support to people interested in entering the construction industry, or interested in learning practical and hands on skills in building and handyman work. We provide holistic support that is carefully curated for each participant's situation. This could include support through; financial literacy, budgeting lessons, debt management and support towards consolidation, cooking lessons, driving lessons, housing support (where possible), safety and PPE clothing and equipment, meals and grocery support and financial stability through paid full-time employment. We offer both formal training to work towards obtaining certified trade certificates, or informal training to gain invaluable experience in the trades industry. Our aim is to support each participant in building self belief and being able to work towards gaining greater independence.

This is a full training and empowerment scholarship for one year,  offering entry level support to people interested in entering the automotive industry, specifically focused on electric vehicle production and conversion, as well as restorations. Participants will be acquiring sustainable skills that will equip them for the future. We provide holistic support that is carefully curated for each participant. This could include support through; budgeting lessons, debt support, cooking lessons, driving lessons, housing support, safety and PPE clothing and equipment, meals and grocery support and financial stability through paid part-time or full-time employment. We offer formal training opportunities to work towards obtaining industry-recognised trade certificates, as well as more informal training to gain invaluable experience in the trades industry. Our aim is to support each participant in feeling more empowered, valued and able to gain greater independence.

This is a scholarship opportunity for participants to learn invaluable skills about re-purposing, recycling and redesigning. A major focus of this empowerment opportunity involves taking materials bound for landfill and giving them a meaningful, second life. Activities in this training program could include; recycling used battery packs into off-grid power sources for Alaya cabins and range extension packs for Vessel electric vehicles; sanding and treating old fence posts for use in Alaya cabins; and restoring and repairing the bodies of old automobiles to bring them back to life. These are entry level tasks and most importantly a confidence building opportunity to gives participants the chance to rebuild their own lives out of trauma, pain and injustice.. just like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

These donations will help us to fund trade- specific equipment used for training in our workshops. This includes:

• Design, build and fabrication equipment (Alaya)

• Restoration, electrical and mechanical equipment (Vessel)

• Protective safety equipment for all trainees, trainers and mentors

• Uniforms and appropriate footwear for all trainees

Our Adventure Fund gives participants the chance to experience something new and unique, to step outside of their comfort zone, face their fears or tick off a bucket list dream. We try to encourage activities that promote team building and trust among teams as well the change to broaden mindsets and overcome adversity. Most importantly we want participants to have a fun and memorable experience that is good for their well-being, confidence and self-worth.
